On the 22nd of June, 2021, DINOX was hosted by Polygon, few questions were posed and the conversation was thus:

Filip — Thanks for inviting us for this special occasion
Sam — Pleased to have you guys here! Could you please tell us a little about yourself and how DINOX came into being?
Filip — My name is Filip. I am the CEO of DinoX. Leading a project of my own has been my long term dream, I started in the startup world back when I was 17. It’s even more incredible because I get to do what I really like — dinosaurs have been my passion since childhood, creating games is fascinating, plus I am crypto enthusiast. I have been in the crypto industry for over 5 years now.
Tom — And I’m the second co-founder and CTO of the project, leading the production of the ecosystem and the game. Spent around 15 years in game dev industry and last few years got into blockchain and technology behind it with opportunity to use it within games. The project itself came into reality in mine and Filips mind when discussing and talking a lot back at the start of the year. Not sure whos idea it was, but we both immediately said “YES let’s do it!” when the idea of dinos as collectibles was mentioned

Sam — Can you tell us a bit more about DINOX and its features?
Filip — It is a fun and player oriented experience. DinoX is about taking care of your dinosaurs, nurturing them all the way from the egg stage, helping them grow and even trading them to create unique groups of dinosaurs that you like. It is also an exciting way to interact with blockchain technology and NFTs. The dinos are living on the Ethereum blockchain, all of the in-game items on Polygon. You can play with your dinosaur in the game we are preparing and you can collect as many as you like. You can even challenge other players and win exciting rewards for playing the game.
Sam — Wow! Awesome! Train your dinosaurs and compete
Tom — Features of this project and ecosystem are well spread into nice spectrum. We planned the roadmap such that the engagement of players and users can be managed. For example at the beginning with the launch of the token we will release staking of tokens in exchange for eggs ( our dino nfts ) .. then within next few months we will periodically release other features. And by the end of the year the community will be able to play the game fully and enjoy all of its features. In the game you will be able to treat your dinos, collect items and new and unique dino eggs and use your dino “army” to fight against other dinos, players or wild life of islands jungle

Sam — What are the major milestones DINOX has achieved so far and what can we expect from you guys in the future?
Tom — We are going according to our planned roadmap for this year. We managed to get all the systems work, all the cogs are turning. We have prepared our 3 tokens ( one of them being the erc 1155 for polygon chain ), contracts are audited and ready to be used for public. And most importantly we are fully on production phase of game development, with first few sneekpeaks coming out soon on our twitter and other announcement channels. In nearest future we will launch our tokens, with it the mentioned staking feature. Then breeding and marketplace are going to follow. All of this for the Generation 0 of our DNX tokens, and before launching the game into closed alpha testing we will release addition generation of dinos

Sam — Can you shed some light on the Dinox Alpha launch and how one can apply for Alpha?
Filip — Definitely Sam, DinoX is going to be one of the best blockchain games out there as we are really focused on the fun aspects of the game and making the actuall gameplay really engaging and rewarding.
Filip — We have a campaign on our page here: https://dinox.io/alpha where you can apply by doing actions for which you get entry tickets and we will be chosing 300 players to be in our alpha and they will receive a unique breedable dino NFTs on top of it too.. Feel free to apply as it’s opened only till the end of the month. Our expected launch for the alpha version of the game is late August / early September

Sam — Can you tell us a little bit about how your experience was building on Polygon and what are the advantages of DINOX working with a scaling solution like Polygon?
Tom — We are skilled in coding smart-contracts, solidty etc. So working with Polygon technology is very smooth for us, considering we are in close partnership we even have a good support always in touch when needed. We chose working with Polygon chain because we understood the need of well done scaling solution and low price fees on transactions. One of the most important assets that will be used with the game is going to be fully interactive and movable on Polygon. And it’s the token that will have the biggest amounts and use cases with the game, so there’s no discussion whether to use such a technology or no.

Sam — What will the future of DINOX in the decentralised finance revolution look like? Can you talk to us about your roadmap?
Filip — From my point of view DinoX plays a part in decentralised finance revolution with it’s play to earn feature. Since our core focus is on our community and really rewarding players for spending their time while playing the game or being active in the ecosystem, I strongly believe DinoX will become very popular because of this.

This is our planned roadmap as we publicly released inside whitepaper and on our webpage. We still have some more details that will fill the holes between features and features that are not mentioned in this summary roadmap, but we will announce everything in advance so the community will know what is going to be happening and when it’s going to happen. And as mentioned before, we are very happy that we are proceeding almost precisely on how we planned.
